I really want to go to Babycakes in NYC. Very badly. They are a healthy gluten free, refined sugar free, vegan (as well as some dairy free, all evils free) bakery. I really want to try the cupcakes. Well, the whole menu looks fab.
Since a NYC trip isn't likely this summer, I decided to try my hand at one of their recipes: Raspberry Scones. MMMMMmmm! Made with agave nectar (I used the amber variety), spelt and fresh raspberries, they are sweet and light and wonderful.
I have heard in forums that there's another recipe for Babycake brownies online, I think related to a stint on Martha Stewart, so I shall try that one too when I find it.
