So today my father took me out for a lovely birthday afternoon-evening. It started with a beautiful walk in the Mer Bleue bog area. It was close to sunset. So pretty - even if it was fairly cold (and yes, it was pretty cold).
After that we went to my new favourite Korean place in Ottawa - Soo Ra. Oh, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere is great! We had a full table BBQ with lots of sides, and we got a multiple beef and pork platter of stuff to BBQ. Fabulous. They even just got their liquor license today. Woohoo!
Then we had coffee and a lovely homemade carrot cake at my place afterwards. What a loverly night.
Made up for being at work until 1030pm last night. That was a scary Halloween.
