Hello y'all. So some of you knew that I was going to NYC after Xmas until Jan. 2nd, 2009. For those of you that didn't - surprise! I have been here now for two full days. Each day has been like the other in that I sleep in a little late, grab breakfast and a coffee a little late, and then realize that I am too late to go to museums as planned and still be back in time to meet my gf for 3pm (or so) heading out on the town. So, instead of museuming I have shopped - and visited some touristy stuff like:
Times Square
Rockerfeller Center
Etc. (read: Central park, most of midtown, a lot of stores with special Xmas displays - the gf loves em - such as F.A. Schwartz, Saks, Lord & Taylor, etc.). All good fun. Have also had wine every night. Had a good ol' NYC Maison Brasserie Duck Crepe last night that was as yummy as 3+ years ago. So, really, all is good despite the overcast sky and weird weather.
