New baking news!

There's a project in the works with a few friendly folks I know to create another blog dedicated to baking things from the book "In The Sweet Kitchen" by Regan Daley. Half reference tool, half recipe book, it promises to be both educational and tasty!


In ordering this from Chapters I also decided to purchase another reference style cookbook that I've been eyeing for some time: "The Art of Simple Food" by Alice Waters. I admire Waters a lot for what she has done and agree with much of her food philosophy. I thought that this book speaks more to her approach to food than many of the other cookbooks, or biographical books, out there about her and Chez Panisse.


Suffice it to say, I will be posting more often when the books arrive (within 2 weeks!). I'll be sure to let you know when the new joint baking blog is launched.
