Glorious, glorious, sweater weather in DC. Woohoo! Well worth the visit. I had a fabulous time. I made mini devil's foodcake cupcakes, and shopped at insanely well stocked (or, at least, as far as product diversity goes) cooking-baking stores. Had fab Korean food. Ate pancakes and French toast all in one weekend. Had the best Japanese 8 course meal of my life (including possibly the best cooked fish ever: Orange roughy with citrus sauce).
To sum up how great my weekend was: the same day I slept in at the Palomar(a fab fab treat!), I had the first tak kalbi in a restaurant since leaving Korea, went jewelry shopping, watched my new fav Korean movie (I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK), ate saboro (my fav Korean bakery good), found a Sephora's last bottle of summer perfume I had wanted last year that sold out by the time I wanted to buy it (and never found again), and went to the cherry blossom festival (where we actually found parking nearby). Fan - ta - stic!
